Remember, you can make an impact in many different ways - even if you are a student, a renter, or a senior.  You do not necessarily have to spend money to make a difference. You can do many small actions, a few BIG ones, or avoid certain activities all together, and lower your carbon impact. You can also contribute to a more connected and sustainable community by spreading the word about the Energize Boxborough platform.

A lot of people want to do something to address climate change, but it seems too hard or they don’t know where to start. We can help you and your friends find the actions that are right for you and then connect you with accurate information and community recommendations for activities and vendors.

Steps to Take

Send your friend these simple instructions to start using Energize Boxborough:

  1. To check out the site, go to energizeboxborough.org
  2. To sign up, go to https://community.massenergize.org/Boxborough/signup
  3. Enter your email address and create a password
  4. Check your email for the verification link and click to create your profile
  5. Log in using your email and password created in step 3
  6. Enter your profile information (name, city, etc.)
  7. Read and agree to the terms and privacy policy, and click to finish creating profile
  8. (Optional) join a team or a start a new one

Once you have created a profile, you can start a “to do” list of actions you are working toward. You can see your carbon impact and contribute to our community’s overall metrics by selecting “Done” on actions you’ve already completed. Read about your neighbors’ experiences or share your own in testimonials and check out the events page for local or virtual happenings.
